Services for Schools and Nurseries

Detailed assessments for specific individuals or screening assessments for a whole class/ targetted group. We provide full reports with targets and recommendations for staff and parents.

SCERTs assessment can also be offered to agree targets with other professionals working with the child.  

These can be delivered with a child on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. TAs are invited to join therapy sessions to receive training in the required intervention such as:

• Attention Autism.

• PECs (Picture Exchange System).

• Colourful Semantics. 

• Lego therapy. 

• Word Aware Vocabulary across the curriculum.

Twilight sessions/whole-day training sessions can be tailored to the needs of your school or nursery. Learning walks can be completed in your setting to identify training needs appropriate for your staff with options such as:

• Makaton signing.

• How to incorporate visuals into the classroom to support all children.

• Speech sounds. 

• Autism.

• Using whole-school strategies to improve vocabulary/ use of sentences and grammar.

• Communication-friendly- environment audits.

• Staff observations and feedback on strategies.

• Attendance at multidisciplinary meetings/ EHCP annual reviews. 

• EHCP assessments, reports and intervention.

• Parent coffee morning and parent's evenings.
